YOUR FIRST MONTH

A clear start, with decisions you can review.

An illustrative sequence for a new project. Your proposal sets the actual timeline; launch depends on content, scope and your approval.

  1. Understand & agree.Confirm your services, service area, goals, accounts and monthly scope.
  2. Organize & build.Turn your business information and approved photos into a useful page structure and first design.
  3. Review & refine.Check the wording, website on phones, customer journey and agreed revisions together.
  4. Launch & establish a baseline. When approved and ready, publish the site, check the inquiry route and record the starting measures for your plan.

Every plan includes a Benchmark-built, Benchmark-hosted website. Your written scope sets the pages, content, revisions, update allowance, and monthly price before work begins. Your business owns its domain; use of Benchmark’s supplied website depends on an active, paid subscription.

Subscriptions are month-to-month. After written notice of a missed payment and a 14-day grace period, Benchmark may suspend its hosted service. Cancellation, restoration, and access terms are set out in the service agreement. Read how the subscription works.

BEFORE WE START

Clear answers.
A clear next step.

Know what is included, what we need from you, and how the work moves forward.

Can you improve my existing website?

Yes. We review what you have, identify the main gaps, and recommend the right improvements or a rebuild within a monthly plan. The choice depends on your content, structure, and business goals.

Do you work only with contractors?

Our specialty is skilled trades and small businesses. AJ Drywall shows our contractor work; Recon Rods shows how we support a specialist small-business brand.

Do you serve Grand Rapids and West Michigan?

Yes. We work with skilled trades and small businesses in Grand Rapids and across West Michigan. We plan around the services you offer, the customers you want, and the area you actually serve.

How does monthly pricing work?

Foundation, Growth, and Authority are monthly subscriptions. Every tier includes the website build and hosting. Request a proposal for the monthly rate, page count, revisions, content work, and update allowance. We do not sell the website as a one-time purchase.

Is there a long-term commitment?

Plans are month-to-month. Your agreement explains the billing cycle and cancellation notice. Continued use of Benchmark’s supplied website requires an active, paid subscription; cancellation ends the hosted service under the agreement’s terms.

What do you need from me?

Business and service details, your service area, any existing brand assets, project photos you can use, and the account access agreed for the work. We can help organize your content and identify what is missing.

How long will it take?

The proposal sets the timeline around the scope, content readiness, and review stages. We identify the decisions and materials needed from you before work starts.

Who controls my domain and business accounts?

Your business owns its domain and retains control of its Google Business Profile and the materials it supplies. Benchmark builds and hosts the supplied website as a subscription service. The agreement defines website licensing and access; a website buyout or transfer is not included in the monthly plans.

What happens after launch?

We continue hosting and maintaining the website while your subscription is active. Growth and Authority add ongoing local visibility and content work. Your plan defines the update allowance, review cadence, and responsibilities.

What happens if a payment is missed?

We provide written payment notice and a 14-day grace period. If the subscription remains unpaid after that period, Benchmark may suspend its hosted service under the service agreement. Your domain remains yours. The agreement also explains restoration and cancellation.

START WITH A COMPLIMENTARY WEBSITE REVIEW

Know what to fix.
Know where to start.

Share your website, or tell us you are starting fresh. The initial review is complimentary. We’ll assess your public website and local presence, then identify three priorities and a practical next step.

A PREVIEW OF YOUR REVIEW

Three priorities. A practical next step.

Your review includes a clear summary, three priorities and recommendations for your website and local presence. Where a website is available, we include a dated mobile-speed test and a public search-visibility snapshot.

  1. Website clarity and the route to an inquiry.
  2. Mobile loading and usability observations.
  3. Public local-presence findings and three next priorities.

We’ll reply by email to discuss the review and next step. It does not commit you to a subscription. Any paid work requires an agreed written scope and price.

How we use review requests

We use the details you provide to understand your business, evaluate your request, and discuss the next step by email. An optional referral answer and recognized public page name help us understand how people find us. We may record your inquiry, meeting, proposal and outcome in a private lead tracker to manage follow-up. Your request is sent through Cloudflare to our Gmail inbox. Cloudflare Turnstile checks requests for automated abuse. See Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy information.
