01 / THE STARTING POINT
Good work.
A fragmented
online presence.
When AJ Drywall began working with us in March 2023, the business had a Facebook page. According to AJ, a previous paid website engagement had not delivered the promised site.
The Google presence was fragmented, too. Two Business Profiles divided customer attention, and people were leaving genuine reviews on the duplicate rather than the profile AJ wanted customers to find.
The priority was practical: get a credible website working quickly, make the business easier to understand, and bring its local presence together for homeowners and builders.
The first operational site went live in under a week. The website and local marketing work continued to develop over the following years.
02 / THE WEBSITE
AJ’s expertise.
A clearer customer journey.
AJ supplied the content and project photographs. We organized them into a website built around the services, the work, and the next inquiry.

A complete website experience
Homepage, service pages, service-area information, blog content, mobile layouts, and a consistent presentation of AJ’s business.
Real work customers can assess
AJ’s project photographs and business knowledge, presented through service explanations, a work gallery, and useful customer questions.
A clear path to an estimate
Visible phone and estimate contact options help homeowners and builders take the next step after seeing the work.
Local search foundations
Service and location content, page titles, internal links, search indexing work, business information, and Google Business Profile support.
03 / THE GOOGLE CLEANUP
One business.
One clearer
Google presence.
Bringing genuine reviews together
Resolving the duplicate profiles took several days of calls and follow-up with Google’s Business Profile team. We worked with Google to bring the legitimate reviews from the duplicate to AJ’s current profile, giving customers a clearer place to find and evaluate the business.
Challenging reviews AJ could not verify
AJ disputed five reviews after finding no corresponding customer records. We supported the review challenges, and Google removed those five reviews.
The work extended beyond publishing pages: it included persistent follow-through on the business’s existing Google presence.
04 / THE SEARCH HISTORY
Search activity.
From the early years onward.
Google Search Console tracks clicks through to the website from Google’s web search results.
Saved records from the early years
- Saved 2023 record
- 124 Google Search clicks
- Saved 2024 record
- 187 Google Search clicks

About these figures
The saved 2023 and 2024 figures were supplied by Benchmark Digital Solutions; their original report date ranges are unavailable. They are shown separately from the recent exports and are not combined with those totals.
The directly verified report covers June 7, 2025 through October 6, 2026; it does not include the initial 2023 launch. The year-over-year comparison uses July 7–October 6, 2026 and July 7–October 6, 2025.
Google documented a historical reporting error affecting impressions, click-through rate, and average position from May 2025 through April 2026. Clicks were unaffected, so this case study uses click counts for its dated historical comparison. Read Google’s reporting note.
05 / THE BUSINESS BEHIND THE WEBSITE
Growth you can see
around town.
AJ reports that, as the business grew, it added vehicles and employees and invested in greater brand visibility through vehicle graphics and yard signs. That growth also created room to invest in Google Ads.
We worked with AJ on marketing strategy and advised on how its website, Google presence, vehicle branding, yard signs, and paid advertising could support a consistent local identity.
The owner’s feedback was enthusiastic: he loved the website and branding and reported that the phone was ringing more.
Business developments and owner feedback are reported by AJ through the project team. Search Console does not quantify their cause or the number of leads generated.
06 / THE ONGOING PARTNERSHIP
Keep the presence
working for the business.
AJ’s website continues to receive maintenance, SEO work, and updates using new project photographs. The goal remains the same: a credible local presence that reflects the work AJ does today.
